Gypsy is a delightful two-year-old spayed female looking for a fresh start. Her current owners have made the difficult and selfless decision to rehome her due to a change in personal circumstances. They have noticed that their own recent anxieties are beginning to affect Gypsy, and they feel they can no longer fully meet her needs.
Social & Friendly
Gypsy is a wonderful companion who genuinely enjoys the company of people, both at home and out on adventures. While she does tend to jump up to greet you in a friendly manner, she settles quickly if this behavior is ignored. She has experience around children aged six and above; however, because she can be a “bouncy” greeter, she will require supervision to ensure she doesn’t accidentally knock smaller children over.
Training & Potential
Gypsy has worked with a professional dog trainer and showed great progress, interacting very well with other dogs. While she can sometimes be reactive when walked by her owners—likely reflecting their own stress—video evidence confirms she is capable of socializing calmly and successfully in groups of dogs.
The Ideal Home
Gypsy is looking for a home where she won’t be left alone for long periods, as she is accustomed to having company. Her ideal match would be a confident, experienced owner with the time and energy to continue her training and build her confidence. She may benefit from living with another confident dog to help show her the world isn’t a frightening place.
Gypsy is a sweet soul with so much potential; she just needs a steady hand to lead the way.
