Our Annual Charity Fundraiser

On September 6th, under sunny skies, PAWFEST—our fantastic annual charity fundraiser in support of DRUE—transformed into a vibrant celebration of canine fun, community spirit, and compassion for Dobermanns in need. The highlight of the day was our spectacular dog show, boasting over 20 exciting classes ranging from “Puppy” to “Best Rescue.” These categories showcased the incredible journeys of rescued Dobermanns and other breeds but also brought heartwarming reunions with past adoptees. It was inspiring to watch as new families welcomed these deserving dogs into their homes, expanding the DRUE community even further.

The festivities buzzed with energy: mouthwatering BBQs, lively stalls brimming with goodies, and an infectious atmosphere that kept tails wagging all day long. Thanks to the tireless dedication of our amazing volunteers—who manned stalls with infectious enthusiasm, whipped up delicious treats, orchestrated the seamless dog show, and handled the spotless cleanup—PAWFEST became an unforgettable day of connection and generosity.

Attendees opened their hearts (and wallets), raising vital funds that will directly fuel DRUE’s mission: rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming more Dobermanns facing uncertain futures. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us—your support makes all the difference!
