We couldn’t do this without you
DRUE is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit rescue funded solely by public support. Whether you fancy a sponsored silence, a park dog walk, or an office bake sale, every penny raised helps feed, heal, and rehome Dobermanns across the UK.

Invite local owners to celebrate their dogs. Categories could include waggiest tail, best trick, or dog that looks most like their owner.

How to fundraise for DRUE
Once you’ve chosen an idea, a few simple steps will help you raise more and stay supported.

Tell us your plans
Email or use our contact form so we know what you’re doing. We love hearing from fundraisers and can share tips or shout-outs where we can.

Collect donations safely
Share our donate page for card gifts, or set up a JustGiving page (see below) and send us the link. Cash at events should be counted with a friend and banked promptly.

Spread the word
Post on social media, email friends, and put up a poster at work. Clear goals (“£200 for vet care”) inspire people to give.

Send your total
When you’re done, let us know how it went and how much you raised. We’ll thank you properly — and so will the dogs.
How to start a JustGiving page
A JustGiving page is the simplest way for friends and family to sponsor you online. Donations go straight to DRUE (listed as Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe, charity number 1169697) — JustGiving handles the payment and Gift Aid.

Create or log in to your account
Go to JustGiving and sign in. If you are new, register with your email — it only takes a minute.

Start fundraising for a charity
Click Start fundraising. When asked if you are fundraising for a registered charity, choose Yes.

Find DRUE
Search for “Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe” (or charity number 1169697) and select our official listing.

Describe what you are doing
Say whether you are taking part in an event, celebrating an occasion, or fundraising in memory. If your event is not listed, add your own.

Personalise your page
Set a target, write a short story about why you are supporting the dogs, and add a photo. Then create the page and share the link.
When you search for the charity, choose Dobermann Rescue UK & Europe so the money reaches us. Please send us the link to your page once it is live.
