Niya is a clever and vibrant 2 year old with great untapped potential. Niya adores every single person that she meets. She has lived with a male dog so we believe she could potentially do so again if they could match her energy. She is quite full on!
She came to us recently, after her previous owner mistakenly believed she was pregnant.
Niya has had little in the way of training or boundaries. She is a bouncy girl who is strong on lead, but she can walk beautifully, she needs a confident and experienced owner. She can be vocal at times, especially at the start of a walk, but she does settle down. Niya is a bit of a frustrated greeter – despite living with a dog, she isn’t particularly well socialised however she can walk and play with other dogs nicely.
She has been to a busy dog walking spot and has had the odd woof but equally has passed many dogs, some off lead, without a reaction. Niya is a bright girl and when she has been off lead in secure areas she really wants to please, will come back when called and shows a desire to work for you.
Niya’s bags of untapped talent are just waiting for the right home to help her thrive. Unlock her full potential by giving her a job – scent work, agility, trailing, or any brain-engaging activity. She had 2 homes before coming to us, has had a litter of puppies, and hasn’t been given the chance to show what she can do.
Niya can live with children over 12, maybe younger if they are dog savvy, but she is very bouncy. We know she is great in the house, settles nicely at night and is toilet trained.
