Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 19-month-old girl who is looking for a patient and dedicated home. Ivy is deaf, but she hasn’t let that slow her down—she has already started learning some sign language and is ready to expand her vocabulary with a new family.

Life at Home & Compatibility

• Other Pets: She has lived with both dogs and cats. Unfortunately, she started being bullied by the other dogs in her previous home, so she is looking for a safe space where she can feel confident again.
• Livestock: She is used to being around sheep and alpacas.
• Children: She has not previously lived with children.

Training & Potential Because Ivy is deaf, she needs a home where the owners are willing to spend time teaching her through visual cues and hand signals. She has some basics, but she needs someone to continue her education and help her reach her full potential.
