- Dog Friendly, Cat Free: Eddie loves other dogs! Once he knows them, he genuinely enjoys running off-lead and socialising. However, he cannot live with cats.
- Calm Home Environment: Eddie hasn’t lived with younger children before. A calm household with dog-savvy teenagers aged 14 and over would be the perfect fit for him.
Understanding Eddie’s Specific Needs:
- Lead Reactivity: While he loves other dogs off-lead, Eddie’s behavior on-lead can be unpredictable. He needs a confident owner who can assess situations quickly and manage his occasional reactivity. Small in size, Eddie is not physically difficult to handle, but his new owner must be comfortable with his behavioral training.
- Training and Progress: Eddie has been working successfully with a dog behaviorist. While he can walk calmly on-lead alongside other dogs, he may react if another dog reacts toward him. His prospective owners must be prepared to manage these moments effectively.
