Nancy is a 6-year-old dog who recently came into our care after being abandoned at a boarding kennel. Nancy is not yet spayed.
Her Ideal Home
Because we want to ensure Nancy is set up for success, we are looking for a specific home environment for her:
- No Other Pets: Nancy needs to be the only pet in the home. She does not like cats, other dogs, or small furry animals.
- Older Children Only: As we do not know Nancy’s full background, we cannot say how she reacts around younger children. For this reason, we are recommending a home with adults or children aged 16 and over.
- Understanding Owners: We are continuing to get to know Nancy during her time with us so we can better understand her likes and dislikes.
Temperament
Despite her unsettling background, we have been told that Nancy is a loving, gentle soul who thoroughly enjoys company and affection. She is also well-behaved in the house and can be left alone for a few hours without causing any damage.
