Siddington Village Hall in Macclesfield buzzed with excitement on August 24th as DRUE held our annual fun dog show. Blessed with sunny skies, the event was a showcase of canine charm and community spirit.
Judged by Emma Fletcher, the show featured 16 classes, from “Puppy” to “Best Rescue,” celebrating the journey of rescued Dobermanns. Reunion with past rescues was a particular highlight, while new adopters joined the DRUE family.
The day was filled with fun; a BBQ, stalls, and a vibrant atmosphere contributed to a successful fundraising effort. The volunteers’ hard work was evident in every aspect of the event, ensuring a fabulous day of fun and community engagement..
Behind the scenes, our dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. From manning the stalls with enthusiasm to cooking up fabulous food, organizing the dog show, and ensuring a clean wrap-up, our volunteers truly went above and beyond. The generosity displayed by the attendees exceeded our expectations. The funds raised during the event will enable us to continue our mission of rescuing and re-homing more Dobermanns in need.
